Quebec is not Regulated

Currently Ontario, British Columbia and Newfoundland are the only provinces governing the title and practice of Massage Therapy under the Regulated Health Professions Act and the Massage Therapy Act.

These Colleges ensure public health and safety by governing the education and qualifications of Registrants.

There are unregistered under-educated individuals attempting to practice in Ontario claiming to be Registrants in the province of Quebec.  This information is false and misleading.

The province of Quebec does not regulate the title and practice of Massage Therapy and therefore has no Registered Professionals.

Even if they did,registrants of other provinces do not hold license to practice in Ontario.

ONLY Practitioners  holding a valid license issued by The College of Massage Therapists of Ontario are legally able practice in Ontario as Registered Massage Therapists in the Province of Ontario..
